Week 10 Reading Diary A: This Was A Struggle.

I don't know if I still have a spring break mentality, or what is going on, but this was so hard for me to read this week! I didn't even get a spring break and I am still having a week long struggle in doing any work! Maybe it's just etched into all of our brains. Oh, how I will miss the days of spring break.

I think that what happened to Duryodhana serves him right and is a perfect example of some bad karma! By seeking revenge on the Pandavas and trying to shame them, he put himself in the perfect place for a shaming. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, right?

I thought the story of all of the brothers dying because of them drinking water was quite interesting. After living in India for almost 3 months now, I can understand why they would have died. Let's be real, it wasn't because of their disobedience. It was because of the horrible water quality around here.
What I also thought was funny was how predictable that portion of the story was. Of course all but one of them would die and the last would come through and save the day.

I don't know if I will be writing a story this week...mainly because of my struggle in reading this portion of the book..and mainly because I am almost through with the class. So, unless I really need to write a story, I'm not going to. :)
